About The Position

Mayo Clinic Health System is seeking a Family Medicine Physician to join an established primary care practice in Sparta, Wisconsin. The physician may work in a full-time outpatient practice or choose an optional mix of outpatient and hospitalist practice. The role offers a stable, high-quality Family Medicine group practice supported by Mayo Clinic Health System’s main clinic and hospital in La Crosse, Wisconsin, about 30 miles away. The physician will have full backup from subspecialties and access to Mayo Clinic’s integrated network and resources in a collaborative, team-based care environment. For physicians interested in hospitalist care, Sparta Hospital is a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital offering acute medical and transitional care, same-day surgery, a telemetry unit with cardiac monitoring, ancillary and support services, and infusion services. Mayo Clinic Health System specialists also provide outreach services in Sparta across numerous specialties. Requirements

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine.
Must have or be able to obtain a Wisconsin Medical License.

Responsibilities

Provide Family Medicine care in an outpatient practice, with an optional mix of outpatient and hospitalist practice.
Participate in a minimum of 4½ workdays per week.
Deliver patient care in a collaborative, team-based environment.
