About The Position
Mayo Clinic Health System in Austin, Minnesota, is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Family Medicine Physician to join a collegial department. The role is primarily outpatient and offers optional pediatric hospitalist work, as well as optional obstetrics care including prenatal care and non-surgical deliveries. The position has a minimum of 4½ workdays and adult phone call coverage on a 1:30 schedule. The practice is attached to a 32-bed hospital with 4 ICU beds and a 10-bed nursery, and is part of a multispecialty practice with full subspecialty backup. The physician will partner with specialists from Mayo Clinic in Rochester. The site supports J-1 and H-1B visas. Requirements
- Board certified or board eligible in Family Medicine.
- Must have or be able to obtain a Minnesota medical license.
Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient family medicine care.
- Participate in adult phone call coverage on a 1:30 schedule.
- Optional: provide pediatric hospitalist services.
- Optional: provide prenatal care and non-surgical obstetric deliveries.
