About The Position

As our Family Medicine Physician you will join Baylor St. Luke's Medical Group's thriving Family Medicine network in the charming and rapidly growing community of Lufkin, Texas. This opportunity allows you to expand our mission, providing outstanding, comprehensive primary care and making a significant impact in a supportive and collaborative environment. In this role, you will provide comprehensive primary care to a diverse patient panel, seeing an average of 18-22 patients daily, from newborns to seniors. You will diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, emphasize preventative care, and collaborate closely with a dedicated support team. All of this is within a flexible 4.5-day work week designed to optimize your work-life balance and allow you to enjoy all East Texas has to offer. To be successful in this role, you will be a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Family Medicine Physician with an active Texas license. We seek strong clinical skills in comprehensive primary care, a patient-centered approach, and excellent communication abilities within a dynamic outpatient setting. Requirements

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution
  • Board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine
  • Active or eligible license in the state of Texas
  • Strong clinical skills with experience in comprehensive primary care, including care for newborns to adults.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
  • Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care to individuals and families

Responsibilities
