About The Position

Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN) is growing and seeking a part-time (.6) Advanced Practice Clinician (APC) to join their primary care division in Hazleton, PA. This practice is part of LVPG, which employs over 2,000 primary care and specialty physicians and over 800 advanced practice clinicians. The practice is open Monday-Friday from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with call rotated among clinicians in the region. Patient slot durations vary, with 40 minutes for new patients, child wellness/preventative, wellness/preventative for those 46 and older, TOC, and medical clearances, and 20 minutes for wellness/preventative for those 45 and under, return patients, and acute visits. Full-time is defined as 36 patient-facing hours, with part-time being considered. In this role, you will provide care for your own patient panel and see additional acute and follow-up patients as needed. Call is shared with other practices and initially goes to nurse triage. There are opportunities to teach nurse practitioner and physician assistant students. Requirements

A Valid PA Medical License or ability to obtain one is required.
2+ years of experience as a clinician in Family Medicine/Urgent Care/Emergency Medicine preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide care for their own patient panel.
