About The Position

Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN) is seeking a Family Medicine Physician Assistant to join their growing practice in Hamburg, Pennsylvania. This practice is part of LVPG, employing over 2,000 primary care and specialty physicians and over 800 advanced practice clinicians. The Hamburg practice currently has 5 Physicians and 2 APCs. The office operates Monday-Friday, with call duties rotated among regional physicians and APCs. Patient visit durations vary: 40 minutes for new patients, wellness/preventative visits for those 46 and older, child well visits, TOC, and medical clearances; and 20 minutes for wellness/preventative visits for those under 45, return patients, and acute visits. Full-time employment is defined as 36 patient-facing hours per week.

Requirements

At least 2 years of Primary Care experience.
Must be Board Eligible or Board Certified.
A current Pennsylvania Medical License or the ability to obtain one is required.

Responsibilities

Provide patient-centered, progressive primary care.
Manage patient care with flexible Monday-Friday schedules.
Participate in a shared call rotation with other practices in the region, with calls initially going to nurse triage.
Collaborate with an onsite and remote care team to manage in-basket work.
Engage in career development opportunities in teaching, research, and physician leadership.
