About The Position

This role is for a Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) at the Racine Coalition EBC, an employer-based clinic serving local municipal and educational workforce members. The clinic operates in a modern environment and is backed by Ascension All Saints Hospital. The position involves managing a dedicated primary care panel for patients aged 2 and older, directing chronic disease management and preventive care. It also includes delivering on-demand acute care for walk-in illnesses, performing preventative health assessments, screenings, and immunizations, and empowering patients through health education. The role also requires leading client and community relations by collaborating with employer leadership to align clinic services with workforce health goals and community needs. Accurate and high-quality medical record documentation is essential.

Requirements

  • Nurse Practitioner credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Master's degree of Nursing required.
  • Ideally looking for 3–5 years of clinical experience in Employer-Based Solutions, Family Medicine, Urgent Care, or Occupational Health.
  • Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant eligible for an unrestricted Wisconsin state medical license and DEA registration.
  • Strong leadership qualities, independent clinical confidence, and a passion for building lasting relationships with both patients and employer partners.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior dispensing experience is welcomed, but not required.
  • BLS Provider. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Drug Enforcement Admin credentialed from the Drug Enforcement Administration.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary care provider for patients ages 2 and older, directing full-spectrum chronic disease management and proactive preventive care protocols.
  • Evaluate and treat acute, walk-in illnesses (such as sinus infections, colds, and minor injuries) with efficient diagnostic and clinical acumen.
  • Perform preventative health assessments, screenings, and immunizations, utilizing on-site medication dispensing to ensure seamless, convenient patient care.
  • Counsel and educate patients and families on treatment options, lifestyle modifications, and community health resources to foster long-term wellness.
  • Utilize strong leadership skills to collaborate with client employer leadership, ensuring clinic services align with workforce health goals and community needs.
  • Capture every care journey with clinical precision, maintaining high-quality medical records that comply with network standards and specialty guidelines.
