Locum Family Medicine NP/PA
About The Position
This is a locum tenens position for a Family Medicine Physician Assistant (Nurse Practitioners will also be considered) in an outpatient clinic setting. The role requires immediate start and coverage through March 2027. The provider will be responsible for primary care outpatient duties, managing common illnesses, and accommodating same-day appointments. The position is Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 17:00, with one Saturday half-day per month (08:30-12:30) and a compensatory weekday off. There are no on-call duties required. The expected patient load is 20-24 patients per day. The clinic utilizes EPIC for Electronic Medical Records. The credentialing process is expected to take approximately 90 days.
Requirements
- Bilingual in Spanish.
- Must accommodate patients of all ages.
- Board Certification required.
- California medical license is mandatory.
- Experience with EPIC EMR system is preferred.
