About The Position
This is a locum tenens position for a Family Medicine Physician. The role involves providing adult outpatient care, pediatric general outpatient care, and gynecology procedures. Providers will manage approximately 20 patients per day and will be supported by a Medical Assistant and a Patient Access Representative. The current EHR system is Cerner. Providers are required to use DocTime for clocking in and out via reverse invoicing.
Requirements
- Board Certified in Family Medicine.
- Active Michigan medical license at the time of name clearance.
- Demonstrated experience in Family Medicine.
- Proficient in Adult Outpatient care.
- Experience in Pediatric General Outpatient care.
- Competence in Gynecology procedures, including pelvic exams and pap smears.
- Ability to interpret EKGs.
- Must be well-versed and comfortable managing patients across all age groups from newborns to geriatrics.
- Self-Query NPDB must be completed within the month prior to presentation.
Nice To Haves
- Candidates should ideally be local to Michigan.
- Consideration is limited to candidates residing in Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin.
