About The Position

Ascension Seton is looking for a Family Practice APRN or PA to join their team. This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to provide medical services to patients of all ages. The role involves joining an established team of physicians and APPs in an outpatient practice setting with a shared patient panel. Patients range from newborn to seniors. This is an employed position within a nonprofit health system. The role includes leading comprehensive care delivery by directing the treatment and long-term management of diverse health conditions, ensuring every patient receives a personalized and effective care plan. It also involves empowering patients and families by translating medical jargon into actionable guidance, educating caregivers on treatment options and community resources to improve health literacy. The facility serves the population of Austin, Texas, and is part of Ascension, a national nonprofit Catholic health system.

Requirements

• Nurse Practitioner credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Master's degree of Nursing required.

Nice To Haves

• BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Drug Enforcement Admin credentialed from the Drug Enforcement Administration preferred.
• 2 + years of experience is strongly preferred.
