About The Position

Big Rapids Family Medicine is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join their busy practice. This role focuses on rural health and caring for the underserved, offering team-based care and access to student loan repayment programs. The APP will care for patients across the generational spectrum in a practice that includes physicians and other APPs. The team is supported by Behavioral Health, Pharmacists, Social Workers, and experienced medical assistants. Ancillary services like laboratory, x-ray, PT/OT, and specialty care are available on-site.

Requirements

Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant required.
Master's Degree (for Nurse Practitioner: Master's, post-master's or doctorate from an accredited program if education/certification after 2000).
3 years of relevant experience (for Nurse Practitioner).
Current, relevant clinical experience.
Previous experience functioning in a collaborative role as a Nurse Practitioner.
LIC-Nurse Practitioner (NP) - State of Michigan OR LIC-Physician Assistant - State of Michigan.
CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS).
CRT-Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP).
CRT-Pediatric Adv Life Support (PALS).
CRT-Physician Asst Certified (PA-C) - NCCPA National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (for Physician Assistant).
