About The Position

The United Health Services (UHS) Family Medicine Residency Program is seeking a board certified/eligible family medicine physician for a full-time core faculty position. This role involves both inpatient and outpatient Family Medicine. The position is with a dynamic and well-established team at a community hospital affiliated with Upstate Medical University. The residency program was founded in 1971 and operates as a 9-9-9 resident program. The mission is to develop highly competent and compassionate family physicians providing innovative evidence-based care to a historically marginalized and underrepresented patient population, serving urban and rural communities in Upstate New York. The position highlights include a full-time inpatient and outpatient practice with or without non-surgical obstetrics, mentoring from experienced faculty, flexible clinical schedules, and a competitive salary and benefits package. UHS utilizes the EPIC EMR platform system-wide. As a 501(c)3 not-for-profit, the position is eligible for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness.

Requirements

  • Board certified/eligible
  • Completed an ACGME accredited residency program
  • Eligible to be licensed in the state of New York
