Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and paralegal certificate from an accredited institution.
• At least five years of experience as a paralegal.
• Strong legal research and writing skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal research software.
• Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily paralegal team operations, including workload management and task assignments.
• Conduct legal research and provide thorough analysis on case matters.
• Draft, review, and file legal documents, including pleadings, discovery requests, and responses.
• Assist attorneys with trial preparation, including organizing evidence, drafting motions and briefs, and coordinating witness lists.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other relevant parties.
• Manage and organize physical and electronic case files to ensure accuracy and accessibility.
• Support attorneys during depositions, mediations, and hearings as needed.
