About The Position
Hembree Bell Law Firm is hiring an experienced family law paralegal to join its growing team in Austin. The firm helps clients navigate divorce and custody disputes, and the role combines technical paralegal work with empathetic, practical client support. The paralegal will contribute to case strategy, support contested matters, and help families resolve disputes both inside and outside the courtroom. Candidates must be based in Texas. Requirements
- At least 10 years of family law litigation experience.
- Practical, empathetic, and client-focused approach.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-moving, collaborative environment.

- Proficiency in Clio or similar software.
- Must be based in Texas.
Responsibilities
- Support case strategies by preparing discovery, drafting pleadings and motions, and preparing for mediation.
- File documents with the court and prepare trial exhibits.
- Help families resolve disputes creatively outside the courtroom.
- Support contested cases while keeping clients calm and informed.
- Provide client care from strategy meetings through post-judgment matters.
- Contribute to a collaborative team focused on shared success and continued growth.
