About The Position
Legal Services of Greater Miami, a firm with over 40 lawyers and a 55-year history of serving low-income communities, is seeking attorneys admitted to the Florida Bar. The firm is a leader in legal aid, recognized for its advocacy for clients' rights in Miami-Dade and Monroe Counties. This role focuses on family law, providing legal representation in various family law matters. The attorney will manage their own caseload, including client interviews, drafting pleadings, conducting depositions, negotiations, and court representation. The position involves significant litigation, client intake, and home visits. Additionally, the attorney will build relationships with community groups, conduct educational events, and manage special projects and clinics. Requirements
- Admitted to the Florida Bar.

Responsibilities
- Provide legal representation in a variety of family law matters.
- Interview clients.
- Draft pleadings.
- Conduct depositions.
- Negotiate with opposing parties.
- Represent clients in court and before administrative agencies.
- Conduct client intake.
- Conduct home visits.
- Develop ongoing relationships with community, client, and provider groups.
- Develop and conduct community education events.
- Assume responsibility for special projects and clinics as may be assigned.
