About The Position

The Bowen Law Firm, PLLC is seeking a Family Law Attorney to join their respected Houston practice. This role involves handling meaningful casework, representing clients in court, and guiding families through significant personal and legal transitions. The position focuses primarily on divorce, custody, and related family law matters, with exposure to additional areas such as support and protective orders. The attorney will manage their own caseload, work directly with clients, and represent matters in court. This is a full-time, in-office position based in Houston, emphasizing day-to-day collaboration and in-person teamwork. The firm is actively expanding and ready to onboard the right candidate.

Requirements

• Licensed and in good standing with the Texas State Bar
• 2+ years of family law experience
• Confidence in courtroom appearances and client representation
• Strong communication, organization, and case management skills
• Ability to manage deadlines and multiple matters effectively
• A professional, reliable attorney who takes ownership of their work

Responsibilities

• Manage a family law caseload from intake through resolution
• Conduct client consultations and provide clear, practical legal guidance
• Draft pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements
• Represent clients in hearings, mediations, and negotiations
• Maintain consistent communication with clients and case stakeholders
• Collaborate with paralegals and staff to keep matters progressing efficiently
