About The Position
Ray Quinney & Nebeker P.C., one of Utah's premier full-service law firms, is seeking a skilled and experienced family law and domestic relations attorney to join our established practice group in Salt Lake City. We are a full-service firm with 110 lawyers practicing in the areas of corporate and transactional law, intellectual property, commercial litigation, bankruptcy, tax, estate planning, and real estate. As part of that, the firm has a well-respected, established, and integrated family law practice. Successful candidates are practitioners who excel in the courtroom and pre-trial resolution, and are ready to manage complex, high-net-worth domestic litigation from day one. It is not a requirement that the candidate have their own "book of business."
Requirements
- 10+ years of dedicated family law practice.
- Experience in taking cases to trial and handling complex contested hearings.
- Familiarity with Utah's district judges and commissioners.
- Juris Doctor from an accredited law school and an active member in good standing with the Utah State Bar.

Responsibilities
- Manage all phases of family law matters, including divorce, high-asset division, custody disputes, prenuptial agreements, and post-decree modifications.
- Act as lead counsel in evidentiary hearings and trials. Candidates must be comfortable and proficient in the courtroom.
- Provide legal advice to clients navigating financially complex transitions in addition to typical divorce issues.
- Oversee associate attorneys and staff.
- Work across practice groups (Tax, Estate Planning, Real Estate, and others) to provide multi-disciplinary solutions for the firm's clients.
