About The Position

Eisner Health is seeking an experienced Family or Internal Physician to provide services to underserved communities. This position offers multi-generational care in an environment that supports excellent services including dental care, mental health, and social work. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive outpatient and family practice medical care, including direct patient care, multidisciplinary interaction with support services, and other clinical and administrative duties.

Requirements

Current license to practice medicine in the State of California.
Board Certified/Board Eligible in Family Practice or Internal Medicine.
Current DEA License.
Current CPR Certification.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills with patients and families.
Experience working with Electronic Medical Records.

Nice To Haves

Proficient in English and medical Spanish.

Responsibilities

Act as the Primary Care Provider (PCP) for assigned patients.
Address patients' immediate medical needs.
Conduct medical evaluations, including history and physical examinations.
Order and interpret laboratory, X-ray, referrals, and other diagnostic studies.
Evaluate patients and develop problem lists.
Develop treatment objectives and plans.
Initiate treatment orders and procedures.
Educate and counsel patients on positive health behaviors and disease prevention.
Collaborate with clinical staff to coordinate and obtain necessary services for patients and families.
Consult with the Clinical Director as needed.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
