About The Position

Responsible for receiving visitors and telephone calls and offering excellent customer service. Interviews families and assists with the completion of all required eligibility paperwork for CPCD programs. Monitors large caseloads and waiting lists and works with CPCD staff and partners to maintain full enrollment.

Requirements

  • 30 semester college credit hours in business, human services, or closely related field. Successful and relevant work experience may be accepted in lieu of college credit.
  • At least one year’s general office or office management experience.
  • Knowledgeable and skilled in the use of common office equipment, complex telephone systems, computers, and computer software programs such as Microsoft Office, Outlook and other software programs to enter and/or process information data.
  • Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and practical application of systems such as word processing, data entry, managing files and records, designing, and accurately completing forms.
  • Must be motivated, professional, reliable, detail oriented, and organized.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with numerous deadlines.
  • Possess interpersonal skills to interact with the public and work with staff in a professional, respectful manner.
  • Strong customer service orientation and conflict management skills.
  • Must successfully complete a physical examination, drug screen and TB screening.
  • In accordance with the Head Start Performance Standards.
  • Must have access to reliable transportation and if using a personal vehicle must maintain minimum liability insurance as determined by the State of Colorado.
