About The Position

The Springfield Empowerment Zone Partnership (SEZP) is seeking a Family Engagement Analyst for the SY26-27 school year. SEZP, a collaboration between Springfield Public Schools (SPS), the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE), and the Springfield Education Association (SEA), aims to improve the long-term outcomes for over 5,000 students in 16 middle and high schools. SEZP operates with significant autonomy in curriculum, talent, calendar, schedule, and budget, while focusing on achievement gains for historically marginalized students. The organization is committed to equity and anti-racism, actively working to disrupt systemic oppression and provision gaps. A key strategy is the innovation in Early College programming, including a "fifth year" graduation deferment option to allow students to earn an Associate's degree or college credits, reducing future financial burdens. SEZP supports various early college models and collaborates with multiple higher education institutions. The Family Engagement Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting students through college and career preparation, working dually as an adjunct faculty member at Worcester State University and within SEZP high schools.
