About The Position

AO – American Income Division of Globe Life is expanding its nationwide virtual team and seeking motivated, people-focused professionals to join as Remote Family Protection Consultants. In this role, you will connect with individuals and families who have requested information about available benefits, help them understand their options, answer questions, and guide them through the enrollment process. This opportunity combines customer service, benefits education, relationship building, and consultative insurance sales, all from home. AO provides training, mentorship, licensing guidance, and ongoing professional development. No previous insurance experience is required.

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Be legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Be physically located within the United States
  • Have access to a reliable computer or laptop
  • Maintain reliable high-speed internet
  • Have webcam and microphone capability
  • Maintain a quiet, professional workspace
  • Be comfortable communicating with clients through Zoom and phone
  • Be willing to complete required training and professional development
  • Be willing and able to obtain the appropriate state Life & Health Insurance License

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in customer service, healthcare, hospitality, retail, education, financial services, banking, client relations, account management, administration, call centers, recruiting, military service, sales, leadership, or management.

Responsibilities

  • Connect with individuals and families through scheduled virtual appointments to provide a professional, personalized client experience.
  • Conduct appointments through Zoom and phone.
  • Connect with individuals who have requested benefit information.
  • Ask questions to understand each family's needs and priorities.
  • Listen carefully to concerns and financial protection goals.
  • Answer questions clearly and professionally.
  • Build trust through genuine, relationship-focused conversations.
  • Help clients understand available benefits so they can make informed decisions for themselves and their families.
  • Explain supplemental life, accident, and health insurance options.
  • Review available benefits and coverage features.
  • Identify individual and family protection needs.
  • Provide needs-based recommendations.
  • Present information clearly and ethically.
  • Guide clients through applications and enrollment.
  • Assist with required documentation.
  • Help clients understand the coverage they select.
  • Support families with policy and benefit questions, coverage reviews, beneficiary updates, ongoing service requests, follow-up communication, and changes in family protection needs.
  • Focus on scheduled client conversations, benefits education, needs-based consultations, enrollment assistance, relationship building, follow-up, and ongoing client service.
  • Develop experience in client relationship management, training and mentorship, coaching, team development, performance management, and business development.
