About The Position

Join our Workforce Solutions team and make a powerful impact as a Family Community Engagement Specialist focused on strengthening families and communities through meaningful connection and support. In this dynamic role, you’ll collaborate closely with the team, families, early learning providers, and community partners to understand their needs and design innovative, strengths-based systems that enhance access to services and improve outcomes for compliance and customer satisfaction. You’ll lead engaging trainings on trauma-informed care, adverse childhood experiences, and the Strengthening Families approach, while using Appreciative Inquiry to develop programs that increase family participation and trust. By building and maintaining effective referral pathways, coordinating wraparound services, and fostering strong partnerships across the Early Childhood network, you’ll help ensure families receive the resources they need to thrive. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of (2) years working in public relations with students, families, and community members in underserved communities.
  • Minimum of (1) year of teaching experience in PK-12th grade or experience with adult learning.
  • Minimum of (2) years of successful coordination and implementation of a program across multiple locations/buildings/campuses.
  • Minimum of (2) years working in student mental health field as a counselor or social worker.
