About The Position

This is a full-time position for a Family Caregiver in Coraopolis, PA. The role involves providing non-medical in-home support to elderly or disabled individuals. The company can help eligible family members or friends become paid caregivers, assisting with state waiver applications if necessary. Both the client and the caregiver must be 18 years or older. The company covers the cost of required clearances and Tuberculosis testing. The position is Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, and is not on a bus line. The company serves Allegheny, Butler, Washington, Beaver, Westmoreland counties, and any county within 2-3 hours of Allegheny. They accept the Community Health Choices, ACT 150, and VA Aid & Attendance waivers. If a client is not on an accepted waiver, the company will assist in starting the application process.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to effectively communicate with assigned Client Care Manager and the ability to follow verbal and written communication.
• Must complete JEVS Care at Home written exam and orientation program successfully.
• Must pass background check/clearances as required by state regulations.
