About The Position

This is a full-time, non-medical family caregiver position located in Coraopolis, PA. The role involves providing in-home support to an elderly or disabled family member or friend. The company assists eligible individuals (parents, guardians, family members, or friends) in becoming paid caregivers. They also help find a suitable client if the caregiver does not have one. Both the client and caregiver must be 18 years or older. The company covers the cost of required clearances and Tuberculosis testing. Services are available in Allegheny, Butler, Washington, Beaver, Westmoreland counties, and within a 2-3 hour radius of Allegheny County. They accept Community Health Choices, ACT 150, and VA Aid & Attendance waivers, and can assist clients not on these waivers in starting the application process.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to effectively communicate with assigned Client Care Manager and the ability to follow verbal and written communication.
• Must complete JEVS Care at Home written exam and orientation program successfully.
• Must pass background check/clearances as required by state regulations.

Nice To Haves

• Care for an elderly or disabled family member or friend.
• Client is on a state waiver (Community Health Choices, ACT 150, or VA Aid & Attendance).

Responsibilities
