About The Position
American Lawyers Group, PLLC, a well-established law firm with over 20 years of experience representing clients in Virginia, is seeking dedicated family law attorneys to expand its team. Located across from the Fairfax County Courthouse, the firm focuses on domestic law, including divorce, child custody/support, adoptions, and protective orders. Requirements
- Virginia Bar required, though compelling candidates who have or will sit for the Virginia Bar Exam will be considered.
- Demonstrated interest in litigation.
- Willingness to collaborate with team members.
- Excellent verbal and legal writing skills.
- Must own transportation.
Nice To Haves
- Spanish language fluency is a plus.
- Spanish conversational skills (preferred but not required).
Responsibilities
- Proficiency in legal research (divorce, child custody, child support, and adoptions).
- Attend return hearings and pretrial conferences.
