Part-Time Family Assistant

DM Estate Staffing•Shoreline, WA

About The Position

A warm, community-minded couple in Shoreline, Washington, is seeking a thoughtful, organized Family Assistant to provide part-time support in their family home. The role calls for genuine care, discretion, and a calm, hands-on presence. The family values privacy, independence, and established household routines, so the successful candidate will observe, learn, and manage tasks thoughtfully rather than impose new systems. The family seeks a meticulous, professional candidate for the long term and is flexible about setting days and times around the hired candidate, targeting 15–30 hours per week. Remote hours for administrative tasks may be available after an onboarding period. The Family Assistant will help maintain the home, organize household projects, prepare meals, coordinate vendors and services, run errands, provide occasional driving assistance, and offer light companionship and support with everyday tasks. The role also includes communication with the family's adult children, support for household and outdoor spaces, and help with everyday technology. Experience or understanding of Asian culture is a strong plus.
