Emerald Youth Foundation (EY) has been supporting Knoxville's youth and preparing them to be community leaders since 1991. EY engages over 3,000 children, teens, and young adults annually through faith, learning, and health programs. This role is crucial for supporting students in afterschool programs who take the Measures of Academic Progress (MAP) Assessment. Tutors will help address learning gaps and strengthen specific reading and math skills through individualized instruction, aiming to empower students and help them achieve their learning goals. Tutors will be placed at one of EY's JustLead program sites, which are implemented through a network of churches and faith-based organizations to foster holistic development in urban youth.
