About The Position

Solairus Aviation is seeking a full-time Falcon 900EX EASy Captain for an operation at KHPN airport. The captain is responsible for operating the aircraft safely and conducting flights in accordance with Solairus Aviation policies and procedures and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations. The role requires an on-call work arrangement and a primary residence within a two-hour drive of KHPN or willingness to relocate. There is also an option to live in St. Thomas.

Solairus crewmembers are paid between $50,000 and $500,000, based on geographic area, experience, equipment type or aircraft, job duties, training, and the assigned account.

Requirements

• 3,000 total flight hours.
• 1,500 PIC hours.
• 1,500 MEL hours.
• 500 MEL PIC hours.
• 500 hours in Turbo Jet aircraft.
• 250 instrument hours.
• Type rating on the Falcon 900EX EASy or comparable aircraft.
• First-class medical certificate.
• Ability to work on an on-call basis.
• Ability to complete ICAO International procedures training annually.
• Primary residence within a two-hour drive of KHPN or willingness to relocate.

Responsibilities

• Operate the Falcon 900EX EASy safely.
• Conduct flights safely and prudently, including reviewing aircraft maintenance status.
• Conduct a proper pre-flight inspection in accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
• Check weather and facilities along the route and at planned and alternate airports.
• Ensure flights comply with Solairus Aviation policies and procedures and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.
• Ensure the safety of passengers, aircraft, and crew.
• Complete trip paperwork accurately in accordance with current procedures.
