About The Position

Solairus Aviation is seeking a full-time Falcon 900EX EASy Captain for an operation based at KHPN airport. The Captain will safely operate the aircraft and conduct flights in accordance with Solairus Aviation policies and procedures, applicable Federal Aviation Regulations, and the approved Aircraft Flight Manual. The role requires an on-call work arrangement and a primary residence within a two-hour drive of KHPN or willingness to relocate; living in St. Thomas is also an option.

Requirements

• 3,000 hours total flight time.
• 1,500 hours PIC time.
• 1,500 hours MEL time.
• 500 hours MEL PIC time.
• 500 hours in turbojet aircraft.
• 250 hours instrument time.
• Type rating on the Falcon 900EX EASy or a comparable aircraft.
• Current first-class medical certificate.
• Ability to work on an on-call basis.
• Ability to complete ICAO international procedures training annually.
• Primary residence within a two-hour drive of KHPN or willingness to relocate.

Responsibilities

• Operate the Falcon 900EX EASy safely.
• Review the aircraft’s maintenance status.
• Conduct a proper pre-flight inspection in accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
• Check weather and facilities along the planned route and at airports to be used, including alternate airports.
• Conduct flights in accordance with Solairus Aviation policies and procedures and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.
• Ensure the safety of passengers, the aircraft, and crew.
• Complete trip paperwork accurately and in accordance with current procedures.
