About The Position

As a Fairmont Gold Attendant, you will be the beginning of an exceptional guest experience, providing personalized service that will make our guests feel welcomed from the moment they arrive. This is a casual, seasonal role beginning immediately and expected to end on or around September 1, 2026. Fairmont Vancouver Airport is the only hotel located within Vancouver International Airport, offering 397 beautifully appointed accommodations with spacious, soundproofed rooms featuring floor-to-ceiling windows and unobstructed views. Requirements

  • Must obtain and maintain valid Serving it Right and Food Safe certifications
  • Service focused personality is essential; experience an asset
  • Able to handle a multitude of tasks in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
  • Able to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
  • Previous Food & Beverage or guest service related experience an asset
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus
  • Superior communication skills, both verbal and written, and professional appearance
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts including early morning (5am) and late night
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization.

Responsibilities

  • Consistently offer friendly, professional and proactive guest service
  • Responsible for the replenishment and monitoring of all Food & Beverage offerings on Fairmont Gold
  • Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the Fairmont Gold lounge
  • Organizing, cleaning, and maintaining the Fairmont Gold Pantry
  • Assist guests regarding hotel facilities in an informative and helpful way
  • Follow departmental policies, procedures and service standards
  • Take initiative to curate a special and personalized experience for our guests
  • Follow all safety policies, including knowledge of Food Safety & hygiene standards
  • Other duties as assigned
