About The Position

Western Kentucky University (WKU) Owensboro is accepting applications to establish a pool of qualified part-time faculty to teach graduate and undergraduate Finance courses at its Owensboro, Kentucky campus. Classes may be offered during the day or evening. Applications are accepted at any time because the need for part-time faculty is ongoing.

For undergraduate-level teaching, candidates must have a master's degree in Finance or a closely related field. Teaching graduate-level courses requires a terminal degree. Prior teaching experience and experience with online education are desirable.

Applicants must submit a letter of interest identifying the area in which they are qualified to teach, a curriculum vitae or resume, and unofficial transcripts through WKU's electronic talent management system. Kentucky law requires public postsecondary institutions to conduct pre-employment criminal background checks.

Requirements
