About The Position
Jefferson Abington Hospital is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Urologist to join its growing Urology Program. The role offers practice in a technologically advanced community hospital with the academic resources, reputation, and stability of Jefferson Health. The physician will join a collaborative team caring for a diverse patient population and hold a full-time faculty appointment within the Jefferson Einstein Urology Residency Program, which has three residents per year. The position combines academic engagement, surgical volume, and clinical autonomy in a supportive, team-based environment. The work includes clinic, procedural, and surgical care; resident and medical student education and mentorship; clinical research; in-office procedures; inpatient rounding; and dedicated operating-room time. Robotic surgery technology is available. The position is based at Jefferson Abington Hospital in the Philadelphia-area community of Abington, Pennsylvania. Requirements
- Board certification or board eligibility in Urology.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinic, procedural, and surgical urologic care to a diverse patient population.
- Participate in education and mentorship of residents and medical students.
- Participate in clinical research.
- Perform in-office procedures, including cystoscopy, vasectomy, and urodynamics.
- Provide inpatient rounding.
- Use dedicated operating-room block time and have access to robotic surgery technology.
