About The Position

The University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, Department of Neurology is seeking full-time doctoral-level faculty researchers. This position focuses on research in epilepsy and women's health, and an NINDS-funded UE5 research training program. The role involves managing project life cycles, providing leadership, technical direction, and expertise. Responsibilities include writing research proposals, progress reports, and manuscripts, and collaborating with co-investigators. Requirements

  • Ph.D., MD, or DO in Sciences or Medicine.
  • Academic credentials appropriate for faculty appointment at the University of Pittsburgh.
  • Eligibility to work in the United States.
  • Effective spoken and written English.

Responsibilities

  • Managing all aspects of one or more projects with focus on research in epilepsy and women’s health, as well as an NINDS-funded UE5 research training program for residents in Neurology, Neurosurgery, and Neuropathology.
  • Overseeing all aspects of the project life cycles.
  • Providing leadership, technical direction, coordination, and expertise across projects.
  • Contributing to the writing of research proposals, progress reports, and manuscripts.
  • Communicating with multiple co-investigators and collaborators.
