Overview / Job Summary: The Nursing Faculty position plays a vital role in delivering an exceptional educational experience for students pursuing careers in healthcare. As a Nursing Faculty member, you'll inspire and prepare students for successful careers in healthcare by: Teaching classroom, laboratory, and clinical nursing courses Developing engaging learning experiences that connect theory to practice Mentoring and supporting students throughout their educational journey Maintaining student records, grades, attendance, and required documentation Developing and updating curriculum to meet industry standards Participating in program assessment, accreditation, and continuous improvement efforts Staying current with nursing practice and educational best practices. Requirements
- At least two years of current nursing, nurse educator, nurse practitioner, or closely related experience
- An active, unrestricted Kansas RN license maintained throughout employment
- The ability to obtain required clinical site health screenings, TB testing, immunizations, and CPR certification
Nice To Haves
- Master's Degree in Nursing
- Previous teaching, training, coaching, or mentoring experience is preferred—but not required
