About The Position

ECPI University is seeking creative and motivated Nursing professionals to share their industry experience with future nurses at our Manassas, VA campus. This is an ideal position for a nursing professional looking to transition into education. Our terms are five weeks long with small class sizes, offering a great opportunity to share knowledge in the campus classroom or with clinical partners. We are committed to student success through a supportive team and industry-focused curriculum.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited educational institution.
• Current unrestricted license to practice as a registered nurse in the State in which the program is licensed.
• 3-5 years of recent work as a nurse within the past 10 years.
• Previous experience in Pediatrics, Obstetrics, Medical/Surgical, Behavioral Health, or Critical Care departments.
• Strong academic and professional record.
• Strong active-learning skills for effective instruction.
• Experience in a student-centric and hands-on learning environment.
• Highest levels of integrity at all times.
• Orientation toward results.
• Exemplary interpersonal skills, verbal and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Masters degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited educational institution.
• Prior undergraduate teaching experience.
• Experience in Pediatrics, Labor and Delivery, Medical Surgical, Critical Care, Behavioral Health, Geriatric / Skilled Nursing.
