The Division of Pediatric Pulmonology & Sleep Medicine at the University of Minnesota is seeking a board-certified/eligible Pediatric Pulmonologist at the Assistant or Associate Professor rank on an academic track. The Pediatric Pulmonologist recruited will be appointed on the Academic Track where they will provide clinical expertise in the care of children with congenital and acquired airway & lung disease, and in control of breathing (apnea) both in hospital and outpatient clinic settings. In addition, the candidate will train learners (fellows, residents, and medical students). S/he will complement existing clinical expertise in bronchoscopy, cystic fibrosis care, asthma, interstitial lung disease, pulmonary complications of childhood cancer therapies, pulmonary hypertension, sleep medicine, pulmonary manifestations of neuromuscular disorders and exercise physiology. Additionally, the candidate is encouraged to develop clinical activities in an area of their choosing that brings another dimension of expertise to the Division. The candidate will collaborate with all areas of the Department involved in the care of children with congenital and acquired pulmonary disease and with HCMC.
