About The Position

The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at the University of Pittsburgh is seeking part-time temporary faculty to teach non-credit courses. These courses should cover topics of high interest, relevance, and timeliness for OLLI members, who are learners aged 50 and above. The courses can be delivered online or in person, typically lasting two hours per week for five-week sessions across fall, spring, and summer academic terms. A prerequisite for consideration is the submission and acceptance of a course proposal by the OLLI curriculum committee.

Requirements

• Submitted a course proposal that was reviewed and accepted by the OLLI curriculum committee.

Nice To Haves

• Experience teaching mature learners aged 50 years or better.
• Ability to design engaging courses on timely topics.
• Experience teaching online and/or in-person courses.

Responsibilities
