Faculty Fellow, 2027-28 School Year
About The Position
Westminster Christian Academy is accepting applications for a Faculty Fellow for the 2027-28 school year. We seek individuals who are driven by excellence, care deeply about their students, and are willing to develop healthy, nurturing relationships in and outside the classroom. The Westminster Faculty Fellows program is designed to give recent college graduates an opportunity to experience what it’s like to have a career in Christian education. Throughout the school year, the faculty fellows will work with mentor teachers to develop lesson plans and teach classes. In addition to this, fellows will take professional development courses through our Center for Teaching and Learning, coach sports, or sponsor extracurricular activities.

Responsibilities
- Develop lesson plans
- Teach classes
- Take professional development courses through our Center for Teaching and Learning
- Coach a sport each season
- Sponsor an extracurricular activity, like one of our many clubs
- Work with mentor teachers
- Slowly accumulate more responsibilities
- Eventually take over teaching one to two sections of a class
Benefits
- Salary is $32,500 per year
- $10,000 housing allowance for the 10 months of the school year
