About The Position

The Mayo Clinic Family Medicine Residency Program in Eau Claire, Wisconsin is seeking a Board-Certified Family Medicine teaching physician to join our team. The residency program cultivates exceptional family medicine physicians dedicated to providing high-quality, collaborative, and patient- and family-centered care who are committed to partnering with their patients and community to achieve health excellence. This role involves teaching full scope Family Medicine in a supportive, community-based 5-5-5 program with a 1-1-1 Rural Track. Interest in doing inpatient care and teaching is required, while interest in prenatal care and labor/delivery care is optional. There is an opportunity to expand and develop Family Medicine research capacity based on individual interests, and great opportunities for faculty & professional development are available. The position is within an integrated healthcare system focusing on team-based care. Inpatient coverage is limited to Family Medicine Teaching Service patients only, as all other inpatients are covered by an established Hospitalist program. Call is approximately 1:6 for hospital coverage (home call) and 1:9 for OB.
