About The Position

HSHS Medical Group is recruiting a board-certified or board-eligible primary care physician for its Multispecialty Care Clinic in Taylorville, Illinois. Family Medicine and Internal Medicine physicians will both be considered. The position is in a well-established, growing practice where building a patient panel is expected to be relatively quick and easy. It is a 100% outpatient practice with a Monday–Friday schedule and the option of working four or five days per week. Call is minimal and shared among a 1:7 group. Dedicated support staff work 10-hour days to help prepare for patient appointments, handle callbacks, and manage inbox tasks. The clinic has on-site lab and X-ray access and uses EPIC EMR. The physician will provide healthcare services to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. The position offers a two-year base guarantee, with a stated pay range of $320,106–$390,656, inclusive of Family Medicine and Internal Medicine and based on experience. Sign-on bonus, housing incentive, and relocation assistance are available. Residency stipends are available for physicians still completing residency. Time off includes 20 days plus six holidays per year, with one additional day earned each year of service up to 10 additional days. CME reimbursement and days are available per fiscal year, and physicians may earn productivity and quality bonuses.

Requirements

Clinical doctorate.
Unrestricted Illinois license before the start date.
Licensed physician in the state of practice.
Board certified or board eligible.
Successfully completed, or be in the process of completing, an accredited residency program.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Maintain a state Controlled Substance license and federal DEA registration when applicable to the specialty.
Competence in delivering healthcare services to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
