About The Position

Lee's Summit Parks and Recreation is seeking a Facility Supervisor to join the team at Harris Park Community Center. This part-time position assists with facility operations and maintenance, including patron services, administrative functions, general maintenance, and oversight of facility use. The Facility Supervisor supervises part-time employees and contract professionals during daily operations, programming, and special events, and monitors the facility, patrons, and operations in the absence of full-time supervisors. The listed duties are illustrative and may include other similar or related work.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
High school diploma or GED required.
At least one year of customer service experience required.
Basic First Aid and CPR/AED certification required within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary point of contact for patron services, assisting with inquiries, registrations, and related needs.
Create and maintain patron databases and perform data entry.
Process financial transactions for facility offerings, maintain transaction histories, balance daily receipts and deposits, and maintain cash controls.
Monitor and oversee facility operations, including rentals, fitness classes, and other offerings.
Assist patrons with other Parks and Recreation transactions or needs.
Open and/or close the facility and related services.
Perform general maintenance and custodial tasks and ensure safety regarding environmental conditions at the facility.
Maintain records and files related to facility operations as assigned.
Maintain safety by following LSPR guidelines, policies, and procedures.
Attend regularly scheduled staff meetings.
Ensure enforcement of LSPR rules and regulations.
Supervise part-time employees and contract professionals for daily facility operations, programming, and special events.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
