About The Position

The City of Jefferson is now accepting applications for a Facility Supervisor for our Parks and Recreation Department. This role requires excellent customer service skills while overseeing youth and adult programs in the wellness center, including sports programs, space rentals, concessions, and employee supervision and motivation.

Requirements

• Experience in employee supervision
• Knowledge of applicable sports preferred
• Excellent customer service skills
• Positive, friendly attitude
• Communication skills necessary
• Prefer candidates to be at least 20 years old
• First Aid and CPR certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Overseeing youth and adult sports programs
• Employee supervision and motivation
• Facility cleanliness and safety
• Public relations and game related problems
• Supervision of participants and enforcement of rules and regulations
• Attending to all daily tasks necessary for the efficient and effective operation of the recreation center as assigned
• Supervising sports and concession staff
• Keeping records and overseeing cash handling of the concession stand
