Requirements

  • Ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects, organize and prioritize critical mission essential tasks.
  • Discreet handling of sensitive information.
  • Experience preparing and sending VARs via DISS.
  • Requires working knowledge of DISS, NISS and e-QIP.
  • Must have or able to obtain STEPP/DCSA required FSO, JPAS, and Insider Threat training.
  • Working knowledge of NISPOM requirements for a possessing facility needed.
  • Experience in processing SF-86, SF-312, Fingerprinting, Security Investigations and Periodic Reinvestigations.
  • The candidate must be able to obtain and maintain Secret clearance
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience in a related field. An equivalent of 4 years of combined education, professional training, or related work experience may be substituted for Bachelor’s requirement.
  • Minimum 5+ years of related professional experience working with relevant security organizations/programs.

Responsibilities

  • Managing security programs in accordance with 32 CFR Part 117 (NISPOM).
  • Acting as a liaison with the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA).
  • Managing physical and personnel security, including COMSEC responsibilities.
  • Interpreting, preparing, and managing DD Form 254 requirements.
  • Conducting internal audits, investigations, and threat assessments.
  • Process vision requests for government facilities; support facilities with corporate badging and facility access, records, and access privileges.
  • Create and maintain security files for employees, consultants, and independent contractors.
  • Provide security briefings, debriefings, security awareness training and annual training for personnel; and maintain records.
  • Process Visit requests, certifications, foreign travel forms, special access, and related documentation.
  • Process security clearance investigations and perform administrative support functions involving the use of e-QIP, NISS, DISS, STEPP/CDSE, and other security related systems.
  • Ensure that security policy and direction is consistent with Government laws and regulations, and company policies.
  • Maintain and manage security requirements for Open Storage areas.
