About The Position

The Lead Facility Operations oversees the club’s Operations department and supports delivery of Life Time’s cleanliness standards and mission. The role is responsible for ongoing training and scheduling of Facility Operations team members, department payroll and budget oversight, and recruiting and staffing.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Two years of management experience.
• Building operations experience.
• Obtain CPR/AED certification within the first 30 days of hire.
• Obtain a Certified Pool Operations (CPO) license within six months of hire.
• Ability to routinely and repetitively bend to lift more than 20 pounds.
• Ability to work in a stationary position and move about the club for prolonged periods.

Nice To Haves

• College degree in business, hospitality, or a related field.
• Health and fitness operations experience.
• Proficiency with computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Military background.

Responsibilities

• Ensure locker rooms, fitness floors, and common areas are clean, tidy, and welcoming at all times.
• Coach, manage, and schedule up to 30 team members.
• Train staff through orientation, direction, and feedback.
• Recruit for the Operations department and recommend hiring, promotions, and disciplinary actions to the General Manager.
• Maintain the monthly, quarterly, and annual department budget, including submitting monthly financial reports to the General Manager.
• Complete Operations payroll and ensure labor costs remain within budgetary guidelines.
