About The Position

The Facility Operations Leader oversees the club’s Operations department and ensures delivery of Life Time’s cleanliness standards while supporting the company’s mission. The role is responsible for the ongoing training and scheduling of Facility Operations Team Members, the department’s payroll budget, and recruiting, staffing, and training.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Two years of management experience.
• Building operations experience.
• CPR/AED certification required within the first 30 days of hire.
• Certified Pool Operations (CPO) license required within six months of hire.
• Ability to routinely and repetitively bend to lift more than 20 lbs.
• Ability to work in a stationary position and move about the club for prolonged periods of time.

Nice To Haves

• College degree in business, hospitality, or a related field.
• Health and Fitness operations experience.
• Proficient computer skills with Microsoft Office.
• Background in the Military is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Ensure locker rooms, fitness floors, and common areas are clean, tidy, and welcoming at all times.
• Coach, manage, and schedule up to 30 team members.
• Train staff through orientation, direction, and feedback.
• Recruit for the Operations department and provide recommendations to the General Manager on hiring, promotions, and disciplinary actions.
• Maintain the monthly, quarterly, and annual department budget, including submitting monthly financial reports to the General Manager.
• Complete Operations payroll and ensure labor costs remain within budgetary guidelines.
