About The Position

Ensures all of the Midland Care Connection facilities are safe, functional, and comfortable. Handles repairs, routine inspections, and preventive maintenance for building systems such as electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical equipment. Also maintain compliance with safety and building codes, perform installations or replacements, and keep tools and equipment in good condition, supporting a smooth and safe environment for patients, families, and staff.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Experience in general building maintenance and repairs
  • Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems
  • Ability to use hand and power tools safely
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to lift and move heavy equipment safely

Nice To Haves

  • Technical or trade certification in maintenance, HVAC, or electrical
  • Experience in healthcare, hospice, or long-term care settings
  • Knowledge of safety regulations, building codes, and OSHA standards
  • Experience with preventive maintenance programs
  • Ability to perform minor carpentry or painting tasks
