They are seeking a dependable Facility Technician to maintain office and residential properties in the Central Massachusetts area, specifically from Worcester to Waltham. The ideal candidate will possess the technical skills necessary for facility and property maintenance, capable of handling a variety of tasks including general repairs, construction, and other facility-related duties. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years working in general maintenance
  • Valid Massachusetts drivers license

Nice To Haves

  • General contractor’s license/trade experience strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Complete all work orders, including routine and emergency maintenance, for assigned buildings, and manage the electronic work order system
  • Perform hands-on repairs at assigned locations, including light carpentry and general repairs
  • Conduct routine inspections of all assigned buildings, ensuring adherence to maintenance policies and compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Participate in special building projects as directed by the supervisor
  • Be part of a 10-week on-call rotation for nights and weekends (once every 10 weeks) to address emergencies as needed
