About The Position

KDC/one is seeking a hands-on Facility Maintenance Technician to help keep its manufacturing facility safe, efficient, and operating effectively. The technician performs routine inspections and preventive maintenance, troubleshoots and repairs facility equipment and systems, and supports a clean and compliant work environment. The role involves varied, active work in a climate-controlled manufacturing environment and regular use of tools and powered industrial equipment. The position is on the first shift, Monday through Friday, from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 2 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Skills in electrical work, plumbing, welding, carpentry, and troubleshooting.
• Strong work ethic, problem-solving mindset, and positive attitude.
• Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with OSHA safety standards.
• Familiarity with good manufacturing practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on facility equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and building systems.
• Perform welding, soldering, carpentry, and general facility repairs.
• Read procedures and work instructions to complete jobs safely and correctly.
• Operate tools and powered industrial equipment.
• Order parts and maintain up-to-date maintenance records.
• Support a clean, safe, and compliant work environment.
• Provide maintenance support where needed as part of the team.
