About The Position

This position involves operating and monitoring computerized building control systems, as well as maintaining facility/plant systems and equipment. The incumbent will independently perform repairs and installations on a wide variety of complex building systems and equipment. Requirements

  • Building Systems Technician certificate
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license
  • Power Engineering License pursuant to the Boiler & Pressure Vessels Safety Act
  • 5th Class Engineering certificate, as required by the Boiler and Pressure Vessels Safety Act
  • Pool Operator certificate, where required
  • Refrigeration Plant Operator certificate, where required by the job
  • Refrigeration Engineer certificate, where required by the job

  • Ability to work independently
  • Knowledge of tools and equipment
  • Must be Available a minimum of twenty-four (24) hours per 3 week period
  • Must be available all shifts, short shifts, short notice calls, stats and holidays, where applicable
  • Applicants must upload all relevant documents (ex: certificates, diplomas, proof of enrollment, licenses and/or memberships) relating to the qualifications of the position
  • Those being interviewed are required to bring a valid Criminal Record Check (CRC) to the interview; it must be dated within six (6) months and include a vulnerable sector search
