About The Position

The Facilities Maintenance Associate cleans office areas, production areas, restrooms, canteens, and outside areas efficiently and safely. The role includes routine cleaning and trash removal, floor stripping and refinishing twice a year, and outdoor maintenance as needed. The associate maintains good housekeeping, follows safety procedures, and reports unsafe conditions to a supervisor. Other duties may be assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• General knowledge of chemicals and the ability to read and understand SDS sheets.
• Time management skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong team player.
• Commitment to company values.
• High school diploma or GED.

Nice To Haves

• One year of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean and empty trash in all facility office areas.
• Clean floors throughout all production areas.
• Clean and sanitize all restrooms.
• Clean and sanitize canteen areas and remove trash as needed.
• Strip and refinish floors on a semi-annual basis.
• Perform outside facility maintenance as needed, including trimming and mowing.
• Maintain good housekeeping in the work area.
• Follow safety procedures and policies and advise the supervisor of unsafe conditions.
• Perform other duties as requested by the supervisor.
