About The Position
Transportation and Parking maintains ten parking decks with approximately 8,200 parking spaces and an additional 14,300 spaces in surface parking lots throughout campus. This position performs daily inspections, maintenance, and minor repairs in UNC parking facilities to maintain clean and safe access for students, staff, and visitors. The role also responds to adverse weather, including removing snow from parking decks and pedestrian pathways, and maintains parking equipment, lighting systems, and power cleaning equipment. It performs yearly pavement marking and lot striping. The work schedule is 6:30 AM–3:00 PM.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily inspections of parking facilities.
- Carry out maintenance and minor repairs in parking facilities.
